3 Point Retractable Seat Belt - Long or Short Sash

Note: Regarding seatbelts for older hardtops such as Camaro, Mustang, Falcon, Firebird, Nova and more, some owners prefer to retrofit with the Standard Length Shoulder Sash Guide while others prefer to use the 7" Long Shoulder Sash Guide so as to lower the alignment of the shoulder strap portion of the restraint. Either method can be acceptable as long as the shoulder strap portion does NOT align too high on the occupant's neck or too much lower than the top of seat back.

Note: To install a 3 point seat belt, your vehicle must have a manufacturer's shoulder bolt attachment point or you must create one (retrofit) one.

Remember, all of our replacement seat belts are Made in the USA with domestic and foreign components and are Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) #209 & #302 approved.

Standard Sash Guide Seat Belt
Above Window 3 Pt. Retractable Standard Sash Bucket or Bench
Click the icon for a Federally safety approved seat belt that is:
  • Both Lap and Shoulder restraint.
  • Retractable
  • Standard Sash Guide

    • For Applications Where:
  • The Shoulder Anchor Point is Located Above the Top of the Side Window
  • The Application Allows the Shoulder Portion of Belt to Position Low Enough to Not Align Across the Occupant's Neck OR an Additional Guide is Built into the Top of the Seat or Headrest That Keeps the Shoulder Strap Down on Top of the Shoulder and Not Across the Neck.

    • Older hardtops (if retrofitted) examples: Camaro or Mustang, Nova, Falcon, Firebird, as long as the car has been retrofitted or will be retrofitted for a seatbelt shoulder bolt anchor above the top of the side window.

    Long Sash Guide Seat Belt

  • The Application Requires that the Shoulder Sash to be Lower so as to Not Align Across the Occupant's Neck
    • Some conversion vans, box truck, work van, cargo van, Econoline or club wagon, some motorhomes, buses, also older hardtops (if retrofitted) examples: Mustang or Camaro, Firebird, Falcon, Nova, as long as the car has been retrofitted or will be retrofitted for a seatbelt shoulder bolt anchor above the top of the side window.
