    • The 500-TX Classic is an updated version of the iconic Bell 500-TX open face helmet with the revolutionary shape that originated in the 50’s. The 500-TX Classic is produced to the most up to date safety standard (FIA 8859/SNELL SA2020) using state-of-the-art modern construction and assembly techniques and composite materials. The original 500-TX was for racers competing in Formual 1, Indy Car, Can-Am, Trans-Am, NHRA, NASCAR and USAC. The original 500-TX had the distinction of being the first helmet certified to the Snell standard. Its classic design was honored in 1962 by the Museum of Modern Art and has been on display at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.
