Kids Helmet Sizing Instructions
Helmets for Kids: Measuring your child's head properly is critical to insure a proper helmet fit and proper fit is essential for the best possible head protection for your child during an impact. Proper fit is something that you definately want to get right the first time especially when it comes to helmets for children (kids helmets), so please follow these instructions carefully. Wesco Performance strongly recommends using a cloth tape (sewing measuring tape) or a string and then measure the string with a conventional measuring tape. Wesco Performance also strongly recommends using the metric increments on the tape for the most accurate measurement.
Measuring: The circumference of your child's head should be measured at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, and at a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement. Take several measurements and it is best to use the largest result.
