3 Point Seatbelts
October 1, 2024
Order two 3 Point belts in maroon. Installed in my '89 K1500. Belts are high quality, seem like they will be durable. Brackets and buckles were also good quality. Color was as advertised and matches the truck well.
Overall I'm happy with the product. If you didn't know better you would think the belts were OEM.
Great upgrade belt

I daily drive a 1972 gmc truck. Recently the buckle broke for the passenger side resulting in unusable belt. I routinely drive my daughter (a nurse) to work. She was already concerned that there were only lap belts and was now extra concerned that there was no belt although the buckle from the center buckle could be used for the passenger side. I realized the truck had upper mounting points and found this belt belt and was able to bolt it right in. My daughter was super excited to have a full functioning seat belt

73'-87' chevy truck owners take notice!
March 22, 2018
I purchased this belt kit with hardware, for my bench seat, 1975 chevy C-20 pick up. Installation was very straight forward and simple. My truck already had the shoulder bolt hole, hidden behind the pillar trim panel. My truck only came with lap belts from the factory, so this is a major upgrade for safety. My only problem was the hardware kit didn't come with the right size shoulder bolt. I needed a 11/4" long, 1/2"X13 thread to the inch, SAE standard, shoulder bolt. NOTE...If your truck came with shoulder belts these next steps are not necessary...I bought a "grade 8", 1/2" X 13 thread, SAE bolt, then, buying a stainless steel bolt sleeve, 9/16"od. X 1/2"id. X 1" long, I made my own bolt shoulder, by cutting it in half with a dremel cutting carbide disk. You must remove the nylon bushing sleeve, they "inserted" on the shoulder, upper triangular attachment bracket, when you install, because It was used to "size up" the included shoulder bolt to the correct 9/16" size, but who wants a nylon "shim" taking all the high torque of an accident? (not me!) DO NOT use anything under the bolts head, or the triangle trim cover, will not snap home....I have purchased the passenger side recently, having figured out the right install method. After much positioning, the retractor will only go in with an angle bracket where the old retractor went. The only other down side is, the seat front to back function is now useless....If the retractor is mounted elsewhere, more modification is required. I have long legs, so it's not a problem....I took the time to write, to save you time....you are welcome.
