Nice seat belt
September 29, 2024
I ordered these to update my 67 Chevelle. I wanted a modern restraint. I shopped other suppliers and the prices were exorbitant and reviews were sketchy. It's a seat belt for goodness sakes. I took a chance on these, had them set up for my application and aside from some minor modifications, they installed nicely. One issue I had was the hardware comes with 7/16 bolts, where mine were 1/2". All in all, nice product for the price.
Great upgrade

Your vast selection enabled me to get precisely what I required to improve the safety of my Grumman-Olsen Kurbmasters old lap belts. Prompt delivery. Packed adequately. High quality belts and buckles. Additional mounting hardware kits made for a super installation. They look good and work great. Thanks for a great product!

Better than expected

I ordered a special order for seat belts for my 1972 Belboa camper. The ones I had the pack rats chewed up.. I got the old school type being it's on old RV and they look amazing in it.. It took a little longer then expected but well worth the wait.. Thx Wesco and I am a word of mouth person and I've already got you another company (well known in Tucson) that might be buying from you in the future.. Thx again
Thanks Troy for your camper seat belt order...and thank you for the referral !

three point belts

Quality of belts seems good. Overall pleased but do have a couple of issues. The retraction strength is not enough. The belt does not feed back into the retractor by itself, it needs to be helped otherwise you have a bunch of loose belt hanging around. The 11 inch Bucket seat end does not play well with the console and original mounting hole in my '73 Cuda. I had to mount it so the button ends up upside down because the plastic part can only mount one way on the belt and the pre-formed bend. If I'm doing something wrong I'm open to suggestions.
Response from Wesco: Hi Greg, thank you so much for choosing Wesco Performance. Sorry to hear that you are having some issues with your new seat belts. The most common cause of the belt not feeding back into the retractor well, is that if the retractor isn't installed directly below the shoulder bolt. The belt should go straight up from the retractor to the should sash guide at a 90 degree angle to the floor of the car. Regarding the 11 inch bucket seat end, that's an easy fix. When the bucket seat end is not bolted in, the buckle along with the 11 inch belt and bolt anchor, slide easily out of the plastic sleeve. You can just unbolt the sleeve, pull out the buckle with belt and flip it around 180 degrees and bolt it back in. Please let us know if I'm not understanding the problem or is you have any further questions at all. Call us toll free at 888-738-5970 for expert advice.

Purchased the extended seatbelts and am extremely happy with the service, price, and amount of extras the company throws in. I had to use the old plastic bolt inserts but otherwise no installation issues at all
