3 Point Retractable SeatBelt Choose Above or Below
Note: Regarding seatbelts for older hardtops such as Camaro, Mustang, Falcon, Firebird, Nova and more, some owners prefer to retrofit the seat belt shoulder bolt anchor point below the side window level as shown in diagram "A," while others prefer to create the seatbelt anchor point above the side window level as shown in diagram "B." Either method can be acceptable and is determined by the individual application and owner preference.
If your vehicle has the seat belt shoulder anchor point SEE BLUE ARROW IN DIAGRAM located below the bottom of the side window level (or if you are going to be retrofitting that way), as illustrated in the diagram, then click on the diagram.
All convertible cars, most vehicles older than 1972 (if retrofitted), sports cars, roadsters and some mid to late 1970's Ford trucks, also older retrofitted hardtops examples: Camaro seat belt or Mustang, Nova, Falcon, Firebird seat belts. Includes applications where either the shoulder sash guide or the retractor end itself, is located below the bottom of side window on the vehicle side wall or wheel well, as long as the vehicle has been retrofitted or will be retrofitted for a shoulder bolt anchor point.

Some conversion vans, box truck, work van, cargo van, Econoline or club wagon, some motorhomes, buses. Also older hardtops (if retrofitted) examples: Mustang seat belt or Camaro, Firebird, Falcon, Nova seat belts, as long as the vehicle already has an anchor point (threaded hole) above the top of the side window or will be retrofitted with one.
